Newydd Housing Association is the landlord subsidiary of The Cadarn Housing Group and manages nearly 2,500 homes across south and mid Wales. These include homes for rent, low cost home ownership, homes for the elderly and supported housing. Newydd also manages a Care & Repair agency in the Vale of Glamorgan and operates a managing agent service for homes in Cardiff and Swansea. Newydd delivers its services through local offices in Barry, Pontypridd and Newtown with central services provided from its registered office in Tongwynlais.

Newydd’s work is overseen by a voluntary Board and two Regional Boards. The Regional Boards consist of tenants and other volunteers who monitor performance and service delivery, and review plans for improving services to tenants and other customers.

Newydd is a not for profit registered social landlord and operate under charitable rules. It is an Investor in People organisation and has been awarded the Charter Mark for its services.
